David Joseph Stone

David Joseph Stone, 65, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Wingate of Norton in Norton, MA. He was the beloved husband of Denise Marie (Andersen) Stone, to whom he was married on July 24, 2004.Born on August 23, 1952 in Westfield, MA, he was the son of the late Barrison J. Stone, Jr. and the late Marjorie A. (Tobias) Stone.David worked for many years as an Information Technology Specialist for several area companies, and had proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Navy.A resident of North Attleboro for the past three years, he previously lived in Worcester, MA. More than anything, he loved being with his family and spending time at home. He enjoyed attending rock concerts and was an ardent fan of the Oakland Raiders. David had a special place in his heart for his cat, "Cinda", who could often be found at his side. In addition to his wife, Denise, he leaves his cherished daughter, Shannon Marie Arsenault of TX. He was the brother of Vickie Asselin, Anthony Stone of Westfield, MA, Barrison Stone of Westfield, MA, Thaddeus Stone of Westfield, MA, and was predeceased by his siblings, Paul Stone, Theresa Hayden, Samantha Stone, Margaret Farley, and Mary Stone. He was the grandfather of Kaden Arsenault and Cote Arsenault, and leaves nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his extended family.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember David by gathering for a Memorial Visitation on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.Burial services will be privately held.A Children's Room is available during the visitation and funeral service.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David's name to Wingate of Norton, 184 Mansfield Avenue, Norton, MA 02766.For additional information or to send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com .
