David E. Silvernail

David E. Silvernail, 80, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on August 19, 2024, at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the beloved husband and soulmate of Ruth E. (White) Silvernail to whom he was married on August 10, 1984.
Born in Norwood, MA on June 17, 1944, he was a son of the late Frederic Rexford Silvernail and the late Lillian (Force) Silvernail. He was a graduate of Walpole High School and earned an associate's degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Mr. Silvernail was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
During his professional career, he was employed as a manager by the former Foxboro Company on two occasions and was also self-employed after retirement.
His favorite pastimes included time spent on his bass boat fishing in Maine, vacations to FL with Ruth and holidays with family. His family was the focal point of his life.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he leaves his children: Carol L. Boudrow and her husband, Joseph Boudrow, of Sandwich, MA and David F. Silvernail of Middleboro, MA; six grandsons; one great grandchild; his sister: Mary Skeahan and her husband, Jack, in California and several nephews, extended family, members of his wife's family and dear friends.
He was the brother of the late Nancy McBride and the late Mildred Terpstra.
David was known as a man with the most incredible outlook on life even with all the health adversities he faced.
Family and friends are invited to attend Visitation with Veterans Honors on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service with Veterans Honors on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
Burial with military honors will follow in Stevens Corner Cemetery, Rehoboth, MA.
