David Prince LaPierre, 78, of Attleboro, MA passed away on June 16, 2025, shortly after admission to the Hope Health Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Born on July 5, 1946, he was a son of the late Alphonse Joseph LaPierre and the late Irene (LeBoutillier) LaPierre. He was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro where he attended the former Attleboro Trade School and studied commercial design.
For more than 25 years, he was employed in the circulation department of the Sun Chronicle in Attleboro, MA prior to his retirement.
He leaves his brother: Albert Carl LaPierre of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Earl Theodore LaPierre of Quaker Hill, CT and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family
members and friends.
David was the brother of the late Carl Joseph LaPierre who died in 2010.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral
Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed immediately by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel".
Burial will follow in the St. Stephen Cemetery, South Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
Following services, an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. LaPierre's name may be made to American Cancer Society.
