"Live long and prosper"
David Francis Lally, 56, of Attleboro, MA passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on August 2, 2023.
Born in Stoughton, MA on February 7, 1967, he was the youngest child of the late James Anthony Lally, Jr. and the late Mary Theresa (O'Leary) Lally.  He was raised and educated in Brockton and participated in programs at Horace Mann Educational Associates in Plainville and previously North Attleboro.
He was a communicant of St. George's Maronite Roman Catholic Church in Cranston, Rhode Island.
David was a fan of anything Star Trek and Star Wars and loved cars and trucks.
His favorite pastimes included eating, helping family plan parties and get togethers.  He loved the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade and the Boston Pops Fourth of July celebration each year.
He will be lovingly remembered for the love and affection he bestowed upon his nieces, nephews,great nieces and great nephews.
David, or as he referred to himself - "Tall Guy", left an indelible impression on his beloved family.
Left to mourn his loss are his siblings: Mary T. Nedder and her husband, David J. Nedder, with whom he resided in South Attleboro, MA; Anne P. St. Pierre and her husband, Gerald St. Pierre of Lovelle, Maine; Loretta E. Lazarus and her late husband, Richard Lazarus, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; James S. Lally of Wells, Maine; Michael G. Lally and his wife, Elizabeth Lally, of Warren, Maine and Brian P. Lally and his wife, Isniya Lally, of Attleboro, MA; two generations of nieces and nephews,  extended family members and many friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 8:30 am until 10:00 am in  the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village  of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Baltic Street, South Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in "Tall Guy's" memory may be made to the ARC of Bristol County, 141 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
