David Joseph Heylin

David Joseph Heylin, 74, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Kathy (Paton) Heylin, whom he married on August 19, 1977.
Born in Norwood, MA on September 4, 1946, he was a son of the late David V. Heylin and the late Doris (Ferris) Heylin. He was a graduate of King Philip Regional High School.
Mr. Heylin resided in North Attleboro, MA since 1977, and was employed as a production supervisor for the L. G. Balfour Company in Attleboro for many years prior to his retirement.
As an ardent golfer, he was a member of the Norton Country Club, Locust Golf Course, and as a member of the Attleboro Area Golf Association he participated in the annual Attleboro Open. He enjoyed exercising at the Hockomock Area YMCA in North Attleboro, attending car shows as an automobile enthusiast, and solving crossword puzzles.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving daughter: Shelley (Stack) Bokelman and her husband, Michael Bokelman, of Franklin, MA; his cherished grandchildren: Thomas Tilton-Heylin of Dallas, TX and Nicholas and Lily Bokelman both of Franklin, MA; his siblings: Diane Forest of Jamestown, RI; Pat Heylin in Oregon; and William Heylin in Florida; and several extended family members and friends. He was the father of the late Terri Heylin who died on March 4, 2021, and the brother of the late Donald Heylin and the late Thomas Heylin.
A private gathering and Celebration of Life will be held for the immediate family only.
Burial will be private.
