David Alan Bennett

David Alan Bennett, 72, of Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Golden Living Center Garden Place in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Evangeline M. (Pacheco) Bennett.Born on October 17, 1943 in Somerville, MA, he was the son of the late James W. Bennett and the late Mary (Buttery) Bennett.David lived most of his life in North Attleboro, and worked for more than twenty-seven years in the Shipping and Receiving Department of Texas Instruments before his retirement. He attended the former St. Stephen's Church in Attleboro, MA.His greatest accomplishment and pride was his family, especially his treasured grandchildren.David is survived by his dear son, Michael D. Bennett and his wife, Kimberly A. (Cochran) of Bristol, RI; and his three grandchildren: Aidan Bennett; Ryley Bennett; and Rachael Bennett. He was the brother of James Bennett of Somerville, MA; Bill Chauncy of GA; and seven other brothers and sisters.Visitation has respectfully been omitted.Burial services will be private.
