Daniel Joseph Owens, Sr.

Daniel Joseph Owens, Sr., 29, of Attleboro, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. A lifelong resident of Attleboro, Daniel was born there on March 13, 1987. He attended Attleboro High School and was employed at United Van Lines. He attended Grace Baptist Church in Attleboro. Daniel enjoyed football, basketball with his children, dirt biking, and spending time with family, friends, and his Labrador Retriever, "Jake". Above all, he loved spending time with his two cherished children.He was the beloved son of Michael William Owens, Sr. and wife, Lois F. (Hall) Owens and the loving father of Angalina M. Owens, thirteen, of Attleboro, MA, and Daniel Joseph Owens, Jr., five, of Foxboro, MA. He was the fiancée of Jacqui Dean of Norton, MA, and the brother of Joseph R. Owens of North Attleboro, MA and Chantel A. (Owens) Frazier of Attleboro, MA. Daniel was the maternal grandson of Sandra L. Hall of Attleboro, MA, and the late Charles R. Hall, and the paternal grandson of the late Andrew "Mike" Joseph Owens and the late Bonnie B. (Kinnan) Owens of Attleboro, MA. He leaves eight nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, his extended family, and many dear friends.Daniel was the brother of the late Michael William Owens, Jr. who died on October 13, 2015.
