Daniel J. Bibby, 62, of Smithfield, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 26, 2025. He was the longtime companion of Silvia Iannetta with whom he resided.

He was born on October 13, 1962, in Providence, Rhode Island, he was a son of the David James Bibby and the late Elizabeth Ann Darling. Raised and educated in the City of Providence, he was a graduate of Central High School.

He was employed as a union carpenter and instructor for 18 years prior to his retirement. For many years while residing in Florida, he was employed at Disney World in Orlando. He also was owner of Tile Art for many years and traveled throughout the US and abroad with his brother, David constructing new businesses.

Daniel enjoyed woodworking; time spent in Florida, a good road trip and time spent relaxing.

In addition to his companion, he leaves his brother: David J. Bibby of North Providence, Rhode Island.

He leaves behind three children: Daniel Squires of East Providence, Rhode Island , his companion, Melissa and their children, Roman and Giovanni, Nicole M. Bibby of North Providence, Rhode Island and Ashley Bibby and her son, Ethan of North Providence, Rhode Island.

He also leaves behind Silvia's children, Joseph Musone, Michael DiSano and Jessica VonMaucher and their spouses and their children, Aiden, Melody and Joshua.

At his request The Celebration of Life Ceremony in his honor will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any animal shelter in honor of his love for animals.
