Daisy Deborah Moore

Daisy Deborah (Harris) Moore, 97, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Life Care Center in Attleboro.  She was the beloved wife of the late George Edmund Moore Jr., whom she married on October 17, 1942 and who died on October 19, 2006.
Born on March 12, 1922 in Prince Edward Island, Canada, she was the daughter of the late William Harris and the late Mary (Turner) Harris.
A resident of Attleboro for most of her life, she was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1940. Daisy worked for almost forty years as a Customer Service Representative for Texas Instruments before retiring in 1982.
A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted homemaker to her family. She always took great pride in her home and yard, and could often be found cleaning her house, working in her yard, or tending to her flower garden. She enjoyed participating in the Texas Instruments Golf and Bowling Leagues, being outdoors, and working on crossword puzzles. Daisy loved animals of all kinds, and held a special place in his heart for late dogs.
Daisy was the loving mother of Nancy J. (Moore) Cox and her husband, David C. Cox, of Attleboro, MA; John B. Moore Sr. and his wife, Geraldine A. (Keisling) Moore, of Attleboro, MA; and Christine M. (Moore) Cole and her husband, Scott E. Cole, of Attleboro, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Douglas D. Cox, Jeffrey M. Cox, Leigh A. Moore, John B. Moore Jr., Brian J. Moore, Michael S. Cole, and the late Robert A. Moore. She was the proud great-grandmother of Thomas Cox, Ryan Cox, Catherine Cox, Timothy Moore, Abigail Moore, Robert A. Moore, Isabella Cox, Brody M. Cole, and Gavin M. Cole.  She was predeceased by three sisters and twelve brothers, and leaves many nieces and nephews and her extended family.
Visitation will be privately held in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Graveside Service on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:15 a.m. in the Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro, MA.
