Crystal Dodge

Crystal Bradford Dodge, 92, of North Attleboro, MA passed away surrounded by the love of her family at her residence at The Branches of North Attleboro on Friday, May 14, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Walter Dodge who died on January 3, 1985.
Born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on February 21, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Milton Lewis Bradford Sr. and the late Ima (Roberts) Bradford.
Crystal resided in the Attleboro and North Attleboro, MA for the past thirty years, having previously lived in Easton, MA. She received an Associate degree from Boston University and worked as a medical secretary before becoming a devoted homemaker to her growing family.  In later years, she worked as a travel agent, legal secretary, and then as the office manager for her son's dental practice in Woonsocket, RI.
She was a longtime member of Central Congregational Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls. Crystal enjoyed playing golf well into her senior years, often at the Norton Country Club.  She was a bright, active, and social woman who enjoyed cross country skiing, knitting, playing almost any card game - but a special affinity for Bridge and Cribbage - and solving word search and trivia puzzles. Crystal traveled extensively and especially enjoyed trips to Bermuda. She truly treasured time spent creating lifelong memories with her family.
Left to mourn her passing are her loving children:  Jeffrey E. Dodge, DMD and his wife, Mary Karish-Dodge, DMD of Attleboro, MA; and Candace D. Markella and her husband, Albert M. Markella, of Abington, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Jeffrey Robert Dodge and Maura Clare Dodge, both of Attleboro, MA. Crystal was the sister of the late Sylvia B. Morrow and the late Milton "Bud" "Brad" L. Bradford Jr. Crystal leaves her extended family and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 Noon in the "Memorial Chapel".  Mrs. Dodge's family respectfully requests that guests abide by reasonable precautions including social distancing and the use of face masks.
Burial will be private.
