Corey Joseph Therrien, 26, of Middleboro, MA, formerly of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
Born on April 19, 1994 in Attleboro, and raised in Attleboro and Middleboro, he was the beloved son of Peter Therrien Jr. and Colleen (Hannigan) Therrien of Middleboro.
A graduate of Bristol-Plymouth Vocational Technical High School, Class of 2012, he was an intelligent, creative, incredible person who loved to write and create music, play guitar, and collect records. In his youth, Corey enjoyed spending time skateboarding, camping with friends, playing baseball, creating street art, and writing. His sweet smile and sparkling eyes will be sorely missed.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his loving sister, Emma Therrien, of Middleboro. Corey was the treasured grandson of William and Kathleen Hannigan of Attleboro; Grace Lunn and her husband, Dr. Rudy Bickel of Haymarket, VA; and Peter Therrien Sr. and his wife, Lucienne, of Pawtucket, RI. He was the cherished nephew of Kelly Davis and her husband, Zach, of Providence, RI; Erin Hannigan and her wife, Kristen Mirabile, of Cumberland, RI; Amanda Goldsmith and her husband, Jacob, of Falls Church, VA; and Aimee Higgins and her husband, John, of Pawtucket, RI. Corey leaves many adoring cousins, his extended family, and countless friends.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the use of facemasks, family and friends are cordially invited attend a Visitation in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
At the family's request, cell phones will not be permitted in the funeral home during the visitation.
Funeral Services and burial for Corey will be private.
