Constance L. (Cruz) Pineo

Constance "Connie" L. (Cruz) Pineo, 80, of Attleboro, MA passed away on January 22, 2022, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA.  She was the beloved wife of Warren "Scott" Pineo to whom she was married on November 13, 1976.
Born in Taunton, MA on November 10, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Frank Cruz and the late Evelyn M. (Lorian) Cruz.  She was a graduate of Attleboro High School and later attended Fisher College where she studied Early Childhood Development.
Connie was employed as a nanny for the Toloczko family in Hopkinton for 15 years prior to her retirement in 2005.  Previously, Connie had been employed at L. G. Balfour Company in Attleboro for 11 years and had also been employed at Automatic Machine Products in Attleboro for 16 years.
She was a resident of the City of Attleboro since 1970 having moved to the community from Taunton.  She was a communicant of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church and later Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Seekonk.
Connie will be remembered for her infectious smile and her unique laugh.
She was happiest when helping others, decorating her home, and cleaning ANYTHING.
A lifelong animal lover, Connie loved many dogs over the years and currently enjoyed the companionship of "Holly".
In addition to her husband of 45 years, she leaves a brother: Frank Cruz, husband of the late Shirley (Rock) Cruz, of Attleboro, MA; four nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews and the beloved members of the Toloczko family.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Funeral Service will commence following visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Connie's name may be made to the North Attleboro Animal Shelter, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.
