Connie Iafrate

Connie (Rezza) Iafrate, 92, of Dodge Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Serafino "John" Iafrate who died in 2000. Born on Dodge Avenue in Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts on September 26, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Remigio and Vincenza (Lepore) Rezza. She was raised and educated in her native community where she remained a lifelong resident of Dodge Avenue. Mrs. Iafrate was employed by Evans Case Company and Donley Manufacturing Company both in North Attleboro prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro Falls. Mrs. Iafrate's most treasured times were those spent creating lifelong memories with her cherished family. She leaves three children: Patricia Dunne-Monterecy, Beverly Ann Iafrate and Susan Cohen; a sister: Rose Theriault; a brother: Achille Rezza and several extended family members; four grandchildren: Sean Dunne, Thom Dunne, Jay Cohen and Tim Dunne; seven great grandchildren: Gianna Dunne, Erica Dunne, Emma Cohen, Nicholas Dunne, Jack Dunne, Mason Dunne and Nathan Dunne She was the sister of the late Anthony Rezza, Joseph Rezza and John Rezza. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Children's room available during visitation and while the funeral cortege is being organized. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 8:00 AM from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, turn right onto Stanley Street in ½ mile and travel to end of Stanley Street), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Following cemetery services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
