Clayton "Clay" Raymond Paquin, 23, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. He was the beloved son of David A. Paquin of North Attleboro and Susan M. (Bourque) Paquin of North Attleboro.Born on April 28, 1995 in Attleboro, and a lifelong resident of North Attleboro, he was a graduate of Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical School. Clay worked as an Apprentice Electrician at Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc., in Holliston, MA and was soon to become a Journeyman Electrician. He genuinely loved what he did and everyone with whom he worked at Griffin Electric. It was, Clay would be quick to say, his dream job.Clay was an inspiration to everyone he met throughout his life. Although he endured multiple brain surgeries for epilepsy during his young life, it was Clay who would often carry the burden for others. He was forever upbeat, optimistic and hopeful. He never complained, never said no to anyone in need of a hand, and was a good friend to all. He was always active and could be seen snowboarding, golfing or running and was passionate about the outdoors - especially hunting, camping and hiking. Clay loved watching sports and was an ardent fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed traveling whenever he could, and he loved music, especially Led Zeppelin, for whom he named his cat "Zeppelin." More than anything, Clay loved his family and simply spending time with them. His infectious smile and laugh, his inspirational outlook on life and his remarkable spirit will forever be remembered and held dear.In addition to his parents, he leaves his much-loved siblings: Matthew D. Paquin of Pawtucket, RI; and Rachel M. Paquin and her companion, Jason "Jay" Szlachciuk, of North Attleboro, MA. He was the maternal grandson of Winifred M. Bourque of North Attleboro, MA and Raymond L. Bourque and his wife, Katherine Bourque, of Attleboro, MA; and the paternal grandson of Lillian J. Paquin of Sarasota, FL, and the late Roland N. Paquin.
