Claudia "Claud" Lynn (Rothwell) Winters, 66, of North Attleboro, MA, passed at her residence on Sunday, January 29, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the much beloved and cherished wife of Gary Nicholas Winters whom she married on September 13, 1974.Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on June 4, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Wilfred Rothwell and the late Glenna Gladys (Gammons) Rothwell. Raised and educated in the City of Attleboro, she was a 1974 graduate of Attleboro High School. She earned an associates degree in business administration from Fisher College.For many years she was employed as a merchandising manager for the former Robbins Company in Attleboro.Claudia and Gary treasured the times spent at their home in Northern Maine in the shadow of Saddleback Mountain where they were members of the Rangeley Snowmobile Club and the Oquossoc ATV Club.She had many canine companions over the years, they were her children, and her most recent companions are "Gunner" and "Buddy".Her vast interests included boating in the waters of the State of Maine, scuba diving, traveling in the couple's motorhome, camping on Cape Cod and going on cruises.In addition to her husband, she leaves two sisters: Pamela K. Cabral and her husband, Roy Cabral, of North Attleboro, MA; Kimberly R. Rothwell-Carson and her husband, Mark Carson, of Charlestown, Rhode Island; two generations of many nieces and nephews; her husband's siblings: Thomas Winters of Attleboro, MA; Steve Winters of Block Island, Rhode Island; Christine Moore of South Attleboro, MA and Linda Gilbert of Central Falls, Rhode Island.She was the sister of the late Glenna Mae Massey.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
