Claudia Lynn (Gibson) Megson, 65, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 10, 2019 with beloved husband, Curtis A. Megson Jr., at her side.
Born on December 12, 1953 in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Amos Gibson and the late Dorothy Mae (Wilson) Gibson.
A resident of Attleboro for many years, Claudia truly valued her role as a wife and homemaker.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, and especially loved RV camping, traveling, and simply spending time with her husband.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two step-children Christopher A. Megson of Attleboro, MA; and Lisa A. Megson Teles and her husband Simao P. Teles Jr., of Pascoag RI; her grand-children, Naomi A. Megson of Lincoln, RI; Simao P. Teles III; Ava B. Teles; Mason G. Teles; and Brycen A. Teles, all of Pascoag, RI. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Gail E. Yacovone Brooks and her husband, Donald Brooks, of South Windsor, CT, as well as her extended family and many dear friends.
All services will be private.
Her family wishes to extend a special thanks to Claudia's cancer team at Dana-Farber Cancer Center in Milford, MA for their wonderful care and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claudia's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
