Claire Anita Quinn

Claire Anita (Letourneau) Quinn, 89, of Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully at her residence there on Saturday, July 15, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Quinn, Jr., to whom she was married on May 1, 1948.Born on July 29, 1927 in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Leo Albert Letourneau and the late Adwilda (Hebert) Letourneau. Claire worked for many years as a Presser in the clothing manufacturing business in Woonsocket, RI for Rex Coat. A resident of Coventry for the past eight years, she previously lived in Cumberland, RI, where she attended St. Patrick Church. A warm and gentle woman, she enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing Bingo, and most especially spending time with her cherished family.She was the loving mother of Deborah M. (Quinn) Durant of Pawtucket, RI; Donna (Quinn) DiFusco of Cranston, RI; Francis J. Quinn III of Cranston, RI; and the late Arleen (Quinn) Cloutier. Claire was the sister of Arthur Letourneau of Central Falls, RI; and Agnes Craig of Las Vegas, NV; and was predeceased by her siblings, Irma (Letourneau) Monforte and Albert Letourneau. She was the adoring grandmother of eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and leaves several nieces and nephews.All services will be privately held.
