Claire Beth Kelson

Claire Beth (Eisner) Kelson, 73, of Franklin, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2019 at home with her beloved husband, Andrew B. Kelson, to whom she was married on June 8, 1978, at her side.
Born on November 6, 1946 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Eisner and the late Sadie (Greenberg) Eisner.
A graduate of New Rochelle (NY) High School, she continued her studies for two years at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Along with her husband, Claire was the proud owner and operator of Franklin Lighting Center in Franklin for the past thirty-one years, having retired in January 2019.
A resident of Franklin for the past eleven years, she had previously lived for twenty years in Wrentham, MA.
Claire was an ardent fan of the New York Yankees who enjoyed traveling and occasional trips to the casino. She and Andrew also enjoyed owning race horses for many years.
In addition to her husband, Andrew, she leaves her dear step-daughter, Lainie B. Vande Woude and her son, Luke R. Vande Woude, both of Jersey City, NJ; and was the sister of the late Stuart Eisner. Claire leaves many good friends; her longtime caregiver and dear friend, Amy, and her daughter Maimouna. Claire was fond of Yolanda and all of the other wonderful people who contributed to her care.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend a Graveside Service for Claire on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Agudas Achim Cemetery, South Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
