Claire Doris Dulude

Claire Doris (Bessette) Dulude, 86, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger E. Dulude Sr., who died on November 30, 2010.
Born on August 9, 1932 in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Romeo Bessette and the late Bernadette (Gendron) Bessette.
A graduate of St. Jean Baptiste High School, Claire worked in the field of health care as a Nursing Assistant at Blair Manor in Enfield, CT for ten years, proud to have been the oldest person working there until her retirement at age seventy-five.
Claire was a resident of North Attleboro since July 2018, having previously lived in Enfield, CT since 1991.
She was an avid reader who enjoyed puzzles of every kind, especially Sudoku puzzles. More than anything, she cherished her family and spending time with them.
She was the loving mother of Roger E. Dulude Jr. and his wife, Linda T. (Martel) Dulude, of Delray Beach, FL; Denise Dulude and her husband, Timothy A. Pothier, of North Attleboro, MA; and Melissa M. Dulude of North Attleboro, MA, and her late husband, Robert Sica. She was the proud grandmother of Alex G. Dulude, Derek J. Dulude, and Genevieve R. Kerr; and the adoring great-grandmother of Morgan Dulude and Dharma Dulude. Claire was the sister of Roger "Buddy" Bessette of Central Falls, RI; the late Roland Bessette; the late Romeo Bessette; the late Cecile Chartier; and the late Gerard Bessette. She leaves three generations of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Graveside Services with full military honors for both Claire and her late husband, Roger, on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Claire to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
