Cindy Marie Rogers

Cindy Marie (Carkhuff) Rogers, 64, of Mansfield, MA, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA following a brief illness.
Born in Portland, ME on July 13, 1957, she was the daughter of Janice (Valley) Carkhuff of Schulenburg, TX, and the late Stephen Carkhuff.
Raised and educated in Pawtucket, RI, Cindy was a graduate of William E. Tolman High School. A resident of Mansfield for the past eight years, she previously lived in Norton, MA and Taunton, MA. She was employed by the Sun Chronicle newspaper in Attleboro many years ago before illness prevented her from working.
Cindy will always be remembered as someone who would do anything for anyone, be the first one to lend a hand and offer to help and would never ask for anything for herself. More than anything, she deeply cherished her family.
In addition to her mother, she leaves her three much loved children: Patrick S. Rogers and his fiancée, Erin Ward, of North Attleboro, MA; William Eric Rogers; and Stephanie Rogers, with whom Cindy resided in Mansfield, MA. She as the proud and adoring grandmother of Jasmine Rogers, Collin Rogers, and Anthony Salvador. Cindy was the sister of Cathy Fraettarelli of Pawtucket, RI; Peter Carkhuff of Londonderry, NH; Mark Carkhuff of Manville, RI; Holly Smith of Schulenburg, TX; Jody Johnson of Portland, ME; and the late Valerie Carkhuff. She leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

Funeral services and burial will be conducted privately.
