Christopher "Chris" Paul Brillon

October 22, 1962 — September 28, 2022

Christopher "Chris" Paul Brillon, 59, of South Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
Born in Attleboro, MA, on October 22, 1962, he was a son of the late Gerald Lawrence Brillon Sr. and the late Gertrude Julia (Duclos) Brillon.  He was a lifelong resident of South Attleboro and was a 1984 graduate of Attleboro High School.
He was a communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, South Attleboro, MA where he was an altar server and collector.
Chris was the first person with Down's Syndrome to be a member of the Annawon Council Boy Scouts of America and was a proud boy scout and earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
As a member of the A.R.C. of Attleboro, he enjoyed spending time with his many friends bowling, swimming, cross-country skiing and playing softball and was active with the Special Olympics.  Chris was privileged to carry the Olympic Torch for the 1996 Olympic Games as it passed through Attleboro.  He was a member of the Saint Theresa's Church Knights of Columbus Council 6320.
Chris will be remembered for loving his family, being a consummate gentleman, being a patriotic dresser and having a keen sense of humor.  And although not a veteran, Chris was fiercely patriotic and had an unending love for his country and could often be heard singing God Bless America.
He enjoyed chopping wood, working in the yard, shredding paper, getting the mail upon delivery for family members and being a "jack of all trades".  Chris was an ardent recycler, loved the holiday seasons, especially Christmas, and was an avid New England Patriots, Tom Brady, and Hulk Hogan fan.
He leaves his devoted and dedicated siblings: Gerald Lawrence Brillon Jr. and his wife, Diane O. (Girard) Brillon of South Attleboro, MA; Frances J. Costa and her husband, Joseph A. Costa, of North Attleboro, MA; Paul J. Brillon and his wife, Jeanne S. (Fredette) Brillon of South Attleboro, MA; Roland E. Brillon and Mary-Jayne (Dufort) Brillon of Attleboro, MA; Julie A.
