Christopher Robert Hutcheon, 19, of Deanville Road, Attleboro, died on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Route 495 in Mansfield, Massachusetts on October 11, 2014. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on September 2, 1995, he was a son of William Edward Hutcheon of Attleboro and Kristin A. (Lawrence) Hochwarter and her husband, Jeffrey A. Hochwarter, of Attleboro. Raised and educated in the City of Attleboro, Christopher was a member of the Class of 2014 at Attleboro High School. He recently started working as a sales associate for Douglas Marketing in North Attleboro. Christopher loved sports particularly basketball, football and baseball and was a member of several youth sports organizations. He was artistic with his writings and drawings and had a passion for "fast and furious" cars. A true free spirit, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and quads as often as he could. On October 6, 2014, five days before his accident, he wrote: "Never give up. There is no such thing as an ending just a new beginning." In addition to his father, mother and stepfather, he leaves his twin brother: Cameron W. Hutcheon of Attleboro; a brother: Benjamin J. Hochwarter of Attleboro; his grandparents: Robert F. and Jane M. (Martini) Lawrence of South Attleboro; Yolanda (LaMonica) Lague, wife of the late Kenneth E. Lague, of Norton; Wayne and Paulette (Smith) Elderkin of South Attleboro and John and Barbara (Lizzotte) Hochwarter of Northport, Florida; several aunts and uncles; many cousins; several extended family members and countless good friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation with on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. For those in need of a ride to visitation simply call the funeral home directly at 508-695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis transportation. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 9:00 AM from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 133 North Main Street - Route 152, Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro. Children's room is available during the visitation and while the funeral cortege is being organized. Following cemetery services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced. At the family's request please do not send flowers.
