Christina "Chris" Marie Parrott, 47, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on March 27, 2022, with her family by her side, at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA, after a lengthy, brave, and courageous battle with health issues.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on November 20, 1974, she was a daughter of Frederick Joseph Parrott Jr., and Elizabeth "Betsy" K. (Klise) Parrott of Attleboro, MA. She resided in the City of Attleboro for most of her life and was a 1993 graduate of Attleboro High School and later attended Johnson & Wales University.
Chris was employed at Shaw's Supermarket in Attleboro Falls, MA, for many years, where she held several different positions including a supervisory role. She also worked at University Urological Associates, Inc.
Her pride and joy were her two nephews - Zack and Jake. She treasured the times spent with them creating lifelong memories for them to now cherish.
She was an avid reader and loved to cook and bake, often revising and creating her own recipes. Chris also enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends through social media.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her sister: Elizabeth "Lisa" L. DeLong and her husband, David M. DeLong II, of Taunton, MA; her two nephews: Zachary David DeLong and Jacob Joseph DeLong, both of Taunton, MA; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
She was the paternal granddaughter of the late Frederick Joseph Parrott Sr. and the late Hazel Beatrice (Quilliam) Parrott and was the maternal granddaughter of the late Russell Wren Klise and the late Dorothy R. (Johnson) Klise.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, One Power Street, Norton, MA.
Following church services, an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments at Norton Country Club, 188 Oak Street, Norton, MA.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Chris may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
