This is a reposting of an obituary that ran in April. Charles Ross Teneyck, 73, of Peck Street, Attleboro, died on April 7, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Born in Oceanside, New York on August 5, 1936, he was a son of the late Charles Lloyd and Anna Ethel (Sperr) Teneyck. He was raised and educated in New York and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. Mr. Teneyck was a veteran of the United States Army having served from his enlistment on June 12, 1957 until his honorable discharge on June 11, 1960. He was employed by I.C.O. Systems in Cambridge as a civil engineer until his retirement ten years ago. Mr. Teneyck resided on Peck Street in Attleboro for the past 8 years and was a former resident of Framingham and Newton. He attended Murray Unitarian Universalist Church in Attleboro. He leaves two sons: Mark Z. Teneyck of Attleboro and Matthew S. Teneyck of Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandchildren and a sister: Ann Lake of Crystal Lake, Texas. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in New York.
