Charles Francis "Tiger' Luzon, 70, of North Attleboro, MA died unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, December 4, 2020.
He was born in New York City, New York on September 4, 1950, a son of the late Charles E. and Ursula B. (Brown) Luzon. He was a graduate of Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York and earned both his Bachelor of Science and master's degrees from C.W. Post College at Long Island University.
He was a retired college professor having worked at his alma mater, C.W. Post College at L.I.U. The creator and owner of two patents as a self-taught chemist, he was also the former owner of U.S. Narrows, a textile company, in Warwick, RI.
He was a man of great intellect and intelligence. Mr. Luzon resided with his brother and sister-in-law, David B. Luzon and Eileen F. Luzon, in North Attleboro for the past ten years. He previously resided in Bedford Hills, New York.
Mr. Luzon was an ardent soccer player, ardent reader and enjoyed trips to the casino.
In addition to his brother and sister-in-law, he leaves four additional siblings: Maryann Maloney of New Haven, CT; Patricia Begley of Chester, New York; Annette Hartstein of Audubon, New Jersey and William Luzon of Chester, New York. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Private burial services will be held in New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in "Tiger's" name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
