Chanell R. Avellar, 49 of Attleboro, MA., passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at home.

Born in Attleboro, MA., on April 30, 1977, she was the beloved daughter of Deborah Messier and her companion “Papa” David Laurie of Attleboro, MA., and her late father, Raymond Erosa.

Chanell was employed as a secretary at Re/Max, where she provided administrative and clerical support. She also worked at the former Archie’s Pizza, where she gained valuable experience and developed lasting memories throughout her professional career.

Besides her mother, she is survived by the father of her children, Sean Sullivan and her loving children, Devin Sullivan, Tyler Anthony Avellar, Ethan Robert Avellar, and Andrew Patrick Avellar all of Attleboro, MA. She is also survived by her maternal grandfather, Anthony Avellar, aunt, Brenda Avellar, uncles, Anthony and Eric Avellar and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sonya Barrows and niece of the late Vickie Avellar Impey, and Joseph Avellar.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Visitation on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 4 PM until 7 PM with words of remembrance at 6:30 PM in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

Her burial will be private.
