Catherine Alice (McCarthy) Lahey, 86, of Norton, MA passed away following a brief illness on November 19, 2022, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of 61 years of the late Lawrence Harold Lahey.Born in Boston, MA on October 10, 1936, she was a daughter of Irish immigrants - the late Patrick McCarthy and the late Catherine Alice (Sullivan) McCarthy. Raised and educated in the Dorchester section of Boston, Mrs. Lahey was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School.Mrs. Lahey was employed for more than ten years at Elkim Electronics in Foxboro, MA prior to starting her own cleaning business with a friend.She was a devout Catholic and was a communicant of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Norton.Catherine resided in Norton, MA from 1963 - 1967 when she moved to Foxboro, MA where she lived until 1994 when she returned to Norton.She was the beloved and cherished mother of Lawrence Paul Lahey of Plainville, MA; Diane Marie Lahey of Canton, MA and Steve M. Lahey of Attleboro, MA and 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.She was predeceased by her daughter: Brenda L.
