Catherine Hart

Catherine Elizabeth "Penny" Hart, 83, of Norton, MA, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 19, 2025.

Born in Boston, MA on November 4, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Ross W. Hart, Jr. and the late Catherine E. (Moriarty) Hart.

She was a school teacher in the City of Boston School Department fo more than 40 years prior to her retirement in 2008.

Strong in her Catholic faith, she enjoyed worshipping at he National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette.

She loved animals and enjoyed time spent drawing.

"Penny" leaves her longtime family friends: Stephen E. Whitten of Norton, MA and Lindsey M. Briggs of Norton, MA.

She was predeceased by her cousin, Deborah Ali, who was more like a sister to her and her brothers: Ross Hart, Robert Hart and William Hart.

All are cordially invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, in the "Memorial Chapel".

Burial will follow in Newland Cemetery, Norton, MA.
