Carolyn Theresa Stillman

Carolyn Theresa (Faulstich) Stillman, 93, of Attleboro, formerly of Norwood, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 19, 2018, with her family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Stillman Sr., who passed away on March 21, 2012.Born on July 20, 1925 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Hinderscheid) Faulstich.A graduate of Mission Church High School in Roxbury, MA, she was a devoted wife and mother, and later worked for many years at the Norwood Telephone Answering Service. She was a resident of Norwood, MA for fifty-eight years before moving to Attleboro five years ago. A woman of strong Catholic faith, she was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro, and had for many years been an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Church and sodality in Norwood. Carolyn loved gardening, crossword puzzles, playing bridge and Scrabble, and spending time during the summer months in North Conway, NH, and on Cape Cod. More than anything, Carolyn cherished her role as a Homemaker, Wife, and Mother.She was the loving mother of Charles J. Stillman Jr. of Sasser, GA; Janice M. Stillman of Attleboro; Mary Beth (Stillman) Winslow of Brookline, MA; Gerard J. Stillman of Attleboro; Laure J. Kelley and her husband, Paul Kelley, of Attleboro; and Paula M. Stillman of Attleboro. She was the dear mother of the late Jody J. Stillman. Carolyn was the proud grandmother of Melissa Quinn, Mitchell Kelley, Alexandra Kelley, Joseph Kelley, April Rocker, and Darryl Stillman, and the adoring great-grandmother of Juliette Rocker, Zachary Quinn, Trevor Stillman, and Riley Stillman. She was the sister of Richard Faulstich, and was predeceased by her siblings: Charles J. Faulstich, Francis Faulstich, Dorothy Moran, and Virginia McDonald. She leaves several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 113 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
