Carolyn Ruth (Lens) Malo, 77, of Attleboro, MA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 23, 2021, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the much-adored wife of Armand Albert Malo to whom she was married on January 3, 2003.
Born in Boston, MA on January 30, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Henry Lens and the late Sophie (Zukas) Lens. She attended the former Girls Latin Academy in Boston and graduated from Hyde Park High School.
In earlier years, Mrs. Malo was employed as a laboratory technician for Tufts University. She devoted herself to her children as a dedicated homemaker as her family grew and later ran a daycare out of her home. Her life was dedicated to children.
Although an Attleboro resident, the North Attleboro community, where she previously resided, was her "world".
A woman of strong religious convictions, she was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark in the village of Attleboro Falls, MA.
A social, talkative woman, Carolyn loved to write personalized letters and cards to family and friends, play scrabble and she loved the fact that she and her beloved daughter, Suzanne, shared the same birthday.
In addition to her husband of 18 years, she leaves her beloved children: James E. Prall of College Station, Texas and Suzanne Carolyn Prall of North Attleboro, MA; her sister: Susan Howard of Plainville, MA; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was the sister of the late Paul Lens and the late Robert Lens.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Private burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
