Carolyn A. (Viers) Couture, 54, of Carrier Avenue, South Attleboro, died on Friday, August 26, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. She was the wife of Thomas W. Couture to whom she was married on December 23, 2005 and was the wife of the late Edmund A. Couture, Jr. who died on October 23, 2002. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 10, 1956, she was a daughter of Fay E. (Lawson) Moore of Louisville, Kentucky and the late Harold Kenneth Viers. She was the stepdaughter of Clayton Moore of Louisville, Kentucky and the late Maryann Viers. She was raised and educated in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She resided in South Attleboro for the past one and a half years and previously resided in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Attleboro, Brockton, Taunton and Norton. Mrs. Couture was employed as a fusion welder for Triad, Inc. in Norton for many years until her illness in 2005. Her favorite pastimes included watching horror movies, playing bingo, creating crafts, home decorating, cooking and had a love for angels. In addition to her husband of five years and her mother and stepfather, she leaves two daughters: Jennifer L. Winn of Loris, South Carolina and Carrie A. (Winn) Green of Attleboro; four grandchildren: Ciara Breadmore of Loris, South Carolina; Zackary Green of Attleboro; Tyler Breadmore of Loris, South Carolina and Cameron Green of Attleboro; her siblings: Kenneth Butch Viers of Louisville, Kentucky; Vicki Roderick of Fall River; Angie Erby of Science Hill, Kentucky; Debbie Winsor of North Attleboro; Lisa Glasscock of Attleboro; Alma Rushia of Norton; Carol Moore, Brenda Moore and Lisa Moore of Louisville, Kentucky and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was the sister of the late Joseph Viers and the late Donna Viers. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral immediately following visitation on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will be private. Childrens room available during visitation and the funeral. Following funeral services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship, refreshments and remembrance at a location to be announced.
