Caroline M. (Savoie) Poulin, 82, of South Attleboro, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Menard) Savoie. She lived in South Attleboro for the past 56 years, previously residing in Central Falls.
Caroline was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Pawtucket and was employed for many years in various jewelry companies throughout Rhode Island prior to her retirement. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed swimming, bowling, and being with her family.
A proud and dedicated community member, Caroline was a founding member of the South Attleboro Girls Recreation Association (SAGRA) in the 1970s. At a time when opportunities for girls in sports were limited, she worked tirelessly to create programs such as softball and basketball so young girls could learn teamwork, compassion, and perseverance while building lasting friendships.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, Dennis; her brothers, Robert Savoie and Eugene Savoie; and her sister, Jacqueline Vadenais.
She is survived by her son, Michael Poulin of South Attleboro; her daughters, Donna Woodworth and her husband Allan of South Attleboro, and Michelle Poulin and her wife Paula of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; five grandchildren, Allan Woodworth Jr., Scott Woodworth, Meaghan Therriault, Kayla Manchester, and Katherine Therriault; nine great-grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, Allison, Morgan, Ethan, Logan, Grayson, Cole, and Lilianna; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held.
