Carole Anne (Montanino) Stever, 75, of Wrentham, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at her home with her beloved family at her side.
Born on April 6, 1943 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Francis Montanino.
A resident of Wrentham for the past eight years, Carole worked for many years as a Clerk for the Retail Hat Shoppe before retiring. Having previously lived in Myrtle Beach, SC for ten years, she lived in twenty-nine different states throughout her lifetime.
A warm, caring, and loving woman who enjoyed walking on the beach, she was an avid reader. More than anything, Carole will be remembered by her family as "The Best Mom Ever".
She was the loving mother of Lisa A. Elliott of North Attleboro, MA, and Craig Stever of Arizona. Carole was the proud and adoring grandmother of Benjamin Elliott and Daniel Elliott, and leaves many dear friends.
All services will be privately held.
Carole loved doing daily acts of kindness, whether it was buying someone a cup of coffee or helping the person in front of her pay for their groceries if they came up short. She's looking down from heaven hoping others will carry on this tradition.
