Carol Ann (Foster) Onoyan - 83, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the comfort of her children on December 17, 2023, after a period of declining health.
She was the daughter of the late Bernard C. Foster and Dorothy (Thomas) Foster of North Attleboro. She married the love of her life, Harry Onoyan in 1960 and enjoyed 60 years of a love story marriage before his passing in 2020. They raised their family in North Attleboro while watching their children grow and have families of their own. Family was everything to Carol, leaving her six children and their spouses: Joanne Stokes (Jeffrey), Janet Conneely (Francis), Steven Onoyan (Michelle), Thomas Onoyan (Elizabeth), James Onoyan (Elaine), and Catherine Carney (John). She also leaves her 14 cherished grandchildren: Jenna Nastari, Cady Ormonde, Lindsey, Eric, Hunter, and Adam Stokes, Ethan and Emily Onoyan, Shannon, Maeve, and John Carney, Taylor and Sydney Onoyan, and Paige Pierce. She also leaves her 2 adored great grandchildren: Cameron Nastari and Logan Ormonde.
She also leaves 2 brothers, Alan Foster of Franklin, and Donald Foster of Cumming, Georgia, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 3 nephews. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Dorothy (Jean) Moran, and her brother, Bernard C. Foster, Jr.
Carol was an avid reader, often having a stack of books by her side and visiting the local library on a weekly basis. She loved the ocean, especially taking trips to Cape Cod and just sitting by the canal, watching the boats go by. She enjoyed gardening, family camping trips to Narragansett, RI, and watching the hummingbirds and finches come to her bird feeder. She was famous for her signature coffee cakes and loved to make her potato salad and meatballs for family gatherings. At the time of her passing, she resided at Tockwotton on the Waterfront, East Providence, RI where she endeared herself to everyone with her smile, kindness, strength, and positivity. She never complained and lived her life with grace and dignity throughout some difficult health challenges.
