Carol Sue (Eberth) Falcone, 73, of Plainville, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI.Carol was one of the most positive, loving, and remarkable women. She had a beautiful smile and loved being with her family, especially her treasured grandchildren, and her very dear friends. She lived her life with passion and had a love of travel, walking, hiking mountains, and a good glass (or two) of Merlot. Most of all Carol was love, and she shared that love, unconditionally with everyone she knew. Born on August 11, 1943 in Colville, WA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Eberth and the late Elizabeth (Foresman) Eberth. A graduate of Colville High School where she maintained a 4.0 GPA and was voted Homecoming Queen, she then received her Nursing Degree from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Spokane, WA. Carol worked for many years as a Head Nurse at Norwood Hospital and then went on to direct the Adult Day Care Centers of Norwood, Norfolk, and Mansfield, MA before retiring. A resident of Plainville, MA for the past twenty-six years, she previously lived in North Attleboro, MA.She was the loving and beloved mother of Tyler Falcone and his wife, Kathie (Phipps) Falcone, of North Attleboro, MA; and Marchelle "Marcy" Falcone and her husband, John Spencer, of Stowe, VT. Carol was the adoring grandmother of Nick Falcone, Ryan Falcone, Adam Falcone, Emily Spencer, and Haley Spencer. She was the loving partner of Edward Cooney of Greenville, RI. She was the sister of George Eberth and the late Pat (Eberth) Strumm, and leaves six wonderful nieces and nephews, Tawnya, Tiffany, Sara, Chris, Lance and Scott, and numerous dear friends. Carol was the former wife of John M. Falcone of Punta Gorda, FL.Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Carol by gathering for a Visitation and Celebration of Life on her birthday, Friday, August 11, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Commonwealth Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dog, "Ollie", and upon her retirement generously volunteered her time at the Mansfield Animal Shelter.
