Carol Ann (Sysak) Doble, 78, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the wife of the late Burton "Bud" L. Doble, whom she married on May 18, 2002 and who died on December 17, 2020.
Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on September 9, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Edward Sysak, Sr., and the late Josephine (Ustawski) (Sysak) Gagnon.
She returned to North Attleboro, MA four years ago from Plainville, MA where she had been a resident for twelve years. Before moving to Plainville, she had again lived in North Attleboro.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Doble was for many years the front desk administrator for DeWitt Animal Hospital in Plainville. She attended the Central Congregational Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls in North Attleboro, MA. She cherished the time spent with her beloved husband, and enjoyed taking drives with him, especially to the beach.
She leaves a son: David Duphiney in Columbia, SC; her stepchildren: Alan Doble and his wife, Rhea Doble, of Flowery Branch, GA; Laurie Richardson and her husband, Chester Richardson, of North Attleboro, MA; Marcy Doble of Middleton, NH; and Sharon Bolen and her husband, Robert Bolen, of Boxford, MA; two grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-great- grandchildren; her sister: Karen Tierney and her husband, Steven Tierney, of Cumberland, RI; her late brother, Edward Sysak, Jr.'s fiancée, Melissa Dion of Cumberland, RI; and many nieces, nephews, her extended family members, and friends.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the use of facemasks, family and friends are cordially invited to honor Carol by attending Visitation in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
The Funeral Service will commence on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the conclusion of visitation.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro, MA.
