Carmen Eulalia (Cordero) Soto, 81, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved and cherished wife of John Raymond Soto to whom she was married on September 25, 1965.
Born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico she was a daughter of the late Jose Cordero Candelaria and the late Zoila Ojeda Serrano.
Raised and educated in Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland in 1981 and settled in Attleboro, MA and North Attleboro, MA. Prior to relocating to Massachusetts, she graduated from the Puerto Rico Junior College and was employed by the Puerto Rico Telephone Company. Since moving to Massachusetts she was mainly a dedicated homemaker for her family.
She and her family were longtime communicants of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro.
As the ultimate hostess, her pride and joy was her home and making it a welcoming place for family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons: John Raymond Soto, Jr. and his significant other, Le An Hinh, of Los Angeles, CA and Pedro Villafane and his wife Kim Villafane, of North Attleboro, MA; a granddaughter: Sofia Villafane of North Attleboro, MA; a sister: Gladys Valenzuela Cordero of Hudson, NH and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
At her request, visitation has been respectfully omitted.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
