CALVIN MERCER WASHBU RN Calvin Mercer Washburn died unexpectedly on March 17, 2006 at the age of 91. Husband of Virginia (Spooner) Jackson to whom he was married on October 24, 2002 and to whom he was married on October 8, 1936. Father of Nancy W. Johnson and her husband, Linwood Johnson, of Dighton and West Palm Beach, FL; Beverly S. O'Neil and her husband, Daniel P. O'Niel, of Norwich, CT; Marilyn J. Martin and her husband, Kevin M. Martin, of Bedford, NH; a son: Robert E. Washburn and his wife, Sheila (Lavelle) Washburn of Vero Beach, FL and Banner Elk, NC. His wife's children: Rev. Lynn McCracken of Providence; Sheryl Ercolano of Westbury, NY and Keith Jackson of Attleboro. Grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Brother of Sarah Brigham of Easton, MD; Esther Randall of Niantic, CT. and Alma West of Terre Hill, PA and the late Marian B. Washburn. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the Evangelical Covenant Church, 841 North Main Street - Route 152, Attleboro with the Rev. Kent Palmquist, Pastor, officiating. Following the memorial service, relatives and friends will be invited to join the family for a gathering in the church fellowship hall. Private burial will be in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.
