Caitlyn Elizabeth Crossen

Caitlyn Elizabeth Crossen, 20, of Plainville, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Born on November 17, 1995 in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of Francis E. Crossen and Michelle Ann (Maietta) Crossen.A resident of Plainville and Milford, MA, Caitlyn was active and out-going and lived life for the moment. She enjoyed photography, loved being with family and friends, spending time on Cape Cod, particularly Dennis Port, the color hot pink, and all animals, especially dogs. In addition to her parents, she leaves her sister and brothers: Jamie J. Maietta of Franklin, MA, Kelsey L. Crossen of Plainville, MA, and Cameron J. Crossen of Holden, MA. She was the granddaughter of Gilbert G. Boucher, Jr. and Louise E. (Haley) Boucher, and the late Anthony Maietta and the late Georgette Maietta. Caitlyn leaves her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.Visitation has respectfully been omitted.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at J.E. McNeil American Legion Post 217, 44 South Street, Plainville, MA 02762.Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Caitlyn's memory to a substance abuse treatment program of one's choice would be appreciated by her family.
