Burnam Lee McCoubrey, III, 47 Burnam Lee McCoubrey, III, 47, of East Street, Attleboro, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a brief illness. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on August 21, 1963, he was a son of Theresa M. (Gerhardt) McCoubrey of Attleboro and the late Burnam Lee McCoubrey, Jr. Mr. McCoubrey resided in Stoughton until moving to the City of Attleboro at the age of 8. He remained a resident of Attleboro for almost the past 40 years. He was a 1981 graduate of Attleboro High School and later matriculated in nursing courses. Mr. McCoubrey was employed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Jamaica Plain for twenty years first as a nursing assistant and later in the communications department. He was tirelessly devoted to his beloved and cherished daughter, Molly. In addition to his mother and daughter: Molly E. McCoubrey of Attleboro he leaves an uncle: George R. McCoubrey of Norton and three cousins. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with Elder Benjamin D. Swain of the Attleboro Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses, officiating. Burial will be private. Following services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced. Childrens room available during the memorial service. Please do not send flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 88 Commonwealth Avenue, Attleboro, MA 02703.
