Bruce Howland Sargeant

Bruce Howland Sargeant, 70, of Dennis, MA, died on Saturday, March 4, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Lois (Constantine) Sargeant and the late Jane (Levis) Sargeant.Born on June 25, 1946 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Irvin and Martha (Anderson) Sargeant.A 1965 graduate of Wilbraham & Monson Academy, he received his Bachelor's degree from Boston University in 1969 and his MBA from Bryant University in 1977. Bruce proudly and honorably served our country as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard.He was the founder and President of Hy Temp Inc. in Attleboro, Massachusetts from the company's beginning in 1977 until his retirement in 2012.He served as the President of the Board of Director of the Woodlawn-North Purchase Cemetery Association.Next to his family, Bruce loved Cape Cod, boating, riding his lawn mower, and had a passion for cars.He leaves a son, Geoffrey (Jody) Sargeant, of Summit, NJ; a daughter, Courtney (Benson) Wilson, of Riverside, CT; and six grandchildren: James, Riley, Graham, Piper, Teddy, and Hayes. He also leaves two stepsons: Marc (Nicole) Belanger and Brian Belanger, and four step-grandchildren: Jarred, Tristian, Aden, and Owen.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced.
