Brian Francis Kenney, 55, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI, after fighting a valiant battle with cancer. Born on June 8, 1962 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Francis Joseph Kenney and the late Anne (Connelly) Kenney.A graduate of Norwood High School, Class of 1980, Brian proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Marines. He then worked as a Project Manager for twenty years at R.J. Kenney Associates in Plainville, MA.A resident of Attleboro and North Attleboro, MA for many years, he was known to his family as the strongest man in the world. Brian loved to research, plan, and then travel the world, especially with his family. He loved listening to music, reading the newspaper, trivia, and watching Hawaii Five-O. Brian enjoyed working with his hands and was typically working on a home repair project. He loved Sunday drives, was known to have a sweet tooth, and had a fondness for vanilla milkshakes. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and his cherished grandson. Brian was the loving and beloved father of Sarah A. Kenney of North Attleboro, MA; and Meaghan R. (Kenney) Daniels and her husband, Brett N. Daniels, of Attleboro, MA. He was the adoring grandfather of Harrison T. Daniels, of Attleboro, MA, and the dear brother of Barbara A. Bardol and her husband, Jimmy Bardol, of Walpole, MA; Patricia Danilecki and her husband, Jack Danilecki, of Walpole, MA; Michael J. Kenney and his companion, Alexandra DeJesus, of Taunton, MA; James E. Kenney and his wife, Patty Kenney, of St. Louis, MO; and Robert E. Kenney and his wife, Denise Kenney, of Graham, NC. He leaves his beloved uncle, Hugh Greenan of St. Johnsbury, VT, and his late wife, Mary (Connelly) Greenan; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.Brian was the former husband of Kathleen C. (Brogan) Kenney.
