Brian D. Jollimore, 51, of Isabell Street, North Adams, died unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 1, 1963, he was the beloved son of John E. Jollimore, Sr. and Carol I. (Fuller) Jollimore. He was a 1981 graduate of King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham and was currently enrolled as a junior at Berkshire Community College where he was a liberal arts major. Mr. Jollimore was a veteran of the United States Navy having enlisted on February 8, 1983 and honorably serving until his discharge on January 20, 1987. He was assigned to the U.S.S. Denver (LPD-9) and was the recipient of the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He was previously employed as a supervisor for Metalor Company in North Attleboro. His favorite pastimes included fishing and attending North Adams town games. He was a history aficionado and ardent Boston Red Sox fan. His most treasured times were those spent in the company of his family, particularly his grandchildren in recent years, creating lifelong memories to cherish. In April of 2014, Mr. Jollimore was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He leaves his former wife: Diane M. (Schnabel) Jollimore of North Attleboro; his children: Kristen L. Cunha of Somerville; Jessica L. Dubois of Attleboro; Briana D. Jollimore of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and Cole D. Jollimore of Pittsfield; his siblings: John E. Jollimore, Jr. of Plainville; Laurie Ferland of Plainville; Dawn Cabral of Carver; David Jollimore of St. Petersburg, Florida and Edward Jollimore of Mansfield; six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation with Veteran's Honors on SATURDAY, September 6, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service with Veteran's and Bagpiper Honors immediately following visitation on SATURDAY, September 6, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Denise Roberge, officiating. Following funeral services, military honors will be bestowed in honor of Mr. Jollimore's loyal and selfless service to his country. Private burial will follow. Children's room is available during the visitation and the funeral service.
