Brenda Mary (Hewitt) Demers, 63, of Attleboro, MA passed away following a brief illness on February 4, 2023 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the beloved and cherished wife of Ricky James Demers to whom she was married on September 25, 1993.
Born in Attleboro, MA on January 17, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Bernard Hewitt and the late Mary Hewitt. Raised and educated in the City of Attleboro, Ms. Demers was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and later continued her education culminating with a master's degree from Cape Cod Community College.
She was employed as a business manager for the Marriott Corporation in California many years ago and lastly as an administrative assistant at Covidien in Mansfield, MA for six years.
Brenda was a communicant of the former St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro, MA.
She and her husband enjoyed camping on Cape Cod and times spent at Horseneck Beach in Westport, MA and traveling to New Hampshire.
Left to mourn her loss, are her sister-in-law: Sharon Hewitt, wife of her late brother, Bernard Hewitt, of Attleboro, whom was a devoted caregiver; her niece: Katie Weidner and her husband, Brad Weidner and their children: Brian Weidner and Leah Weidner all of Attleboro, MA; Becky Hewitt and her daughter, Nevaeh Hewitt, both of Attleboro, MA; her cousin: Pamela Werner, also a devoted caregiver, and her sons: Neal Werner and Randy Werner, members of the Demers family, extended family and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Brenda's name may be made to any breast cancer non-profit organization.
