Brenda Aguiar

Brenda Louise Aguiar, 78, of Attleboro, MA, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late George C. Aguiar, Jr.Born in Mansfield, MA on April 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Al Alger and the late Edna Gormley. Brenda grew up in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield High School. She had made her home in Attleboro for the past fifty-eight years, where she was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church and St. Vincent de Paul Church. She cherished spending time with her family, and truly enjoyed cooking for family and friends.She is survived by her loving children: Michael G. Aguiar of Attleboro, MA; George C. Aguiar, III and his wife, Kimberly Aguiar, of Attleboro, MA; and Jason "Jay" C. Aguiar and his wife, Kathleen Aguiar, of Mansfield, MA. She was the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren. Brenda was the sister of Patrice Bishop of Madison, CT; Barbara Mahoney of Mansfield, MA; and Deborah Sharpe of Mansfield, MA. She was the sister in law of Jack Aguiar of San Antonio TX and his wife, Karen. She leaves several nieces and nephews, and her large loving extended family. She was the loving mother of the late Ann-Marie Pardey and the sister of the late William Gormley.
