Beverly Joyce (Hedden) Moore, 63, of North Attleboro, MA, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Gerald Lane Moore, to whom she was married on June 2, 1973. Born on August 29, 1953 in Central, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Hedden and the late Doris (Thomas) Hedden. Beverly was a graduate of D.W. Daniel High School in Central, SC, Class of 1971, and attended Anderson University in Anderson, SC. A resident of North Attleboro, MA since 1996, she previously lived in Greenville, TX. Beverly truly cherished her role as a Homemaker, Mom, and Grandmother. She was a member of Waters Church in North Attleboro, MA, and enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting, and the companionship of her Maltese dogs, "Buffy" and "Prisi". In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is survived by her treasured children: Michael L. Moore and his wife, Jillian (Masson) Moore; Jennifer L. (Moore) Massotti and her husband, Paul T. Massotti; and Amy E. (Moore) Berthiaume and her husband, Jeff Berthiaume, all of North Attleboro, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of Skyler M. Moore, Sydney M. Moore, Braden P. Massotti, Hannah E. Massotti, Lillian R. Berthiaume, Carter M. Moore, Stella E. Massotti, Blake T. Berthiaume, and the late Parker David Berthiaume. Beverly was the sister of Buford K. Hedden of Anderson, SC, Donna Garrett of Central, SC, and Teresa Reynolds of Liberty, SC. She leaves her mother-in law, Marian E. Moore of Clemson, SC, who was like a mother to her; all her in-laws, who were so very special to her; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA. A private funeral service will immediately follow visitation. Burial will be private.
