Betty Rose (Reynolds) Pike, 84, of North Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late George Joseph Pike.Born on March 18, 1933 in Rehoboth, MA, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Everett Reynolds and the late Minnie Emma (Anderson) Reynolds. A graduate of Rehoboth High School, she had worked as a Jewelry Maker for Swank, Inc. in Attleboro, MA before retiring in 1965. A resident of North Attleboro since 1972, she previously lived in East Providence, RI. Betty enjoyed the company of her family, dining out, listening to radio talk shows, and dancing. She was a Sunday School Teacher at Rehoboth Congregational Church, and loved animals, especially cats and dogs, and feeding squirrels and birds. Betty was the cherished stepmother of Norman George Pike and his wife, Marguerite S. (Collette) Pike, of Pawtucket, RI; and the late Ronald D. Pike and his wife, Audrey (Jackson) Pike, of Wareham, MA. She was the adoring grandmother of eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and the sister of the late Harriet Silva, Lillian Pike, and Grace Langille. She leaves several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, immediately followed by burial in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, North Attleboro, MA.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Betty to the Resident Activities Fund of Madonna Manor, 85 North Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.To send the family a written expression of sympathy, please visit an online guest book at www.dyer-lakefuneralhome.com .
