Betty Ann Lynch

Betty Lynch, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2017 after a short illness. She was born in Attleboro, MA, to the late Gunnar and Eivor (Karlsson) Olsson.Betty was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and a 1955 graduate of North Attleboro High School. Prior to her retirement in 2002, Betty worked tirelessly as co-owner of the Merry-go-Round Liquor Store and the Twin Lantern Lounge in Plainville, MA. She also worked at the Pylon, Inc. in North Attleboro, MA. Since her retirement she enjoyed trips to Cape Cod, Vermont and New Hampshire and spending time with her grandchildren. A kind and devoted mother and grandmother, she will always be remembered for her selflessness and generosity; traits she inherited from her wonderful parents. Her home was always open to those who needed a meal or a place to stay. Betty is survived by her son Frank G Scarpaci of San Diego, CA; and her daughter, Lisa Wain of Attleboro, MA, and five grandchildren Dylan, Hunter, Drew, Michael and Dagny. Betty was predeceased by her son Steven R. Scarpaci. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate her life on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 647 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
