Betty Estelle Hawkins

Betty C. Hawkins of Plainville, MA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 29, 2023. She was the wife of Gilbert C. Hawkins for 68 years who died on January 20, 2023.
Born in Searsburg, VT, on January 19, 1935, she was the daughter of late Earl Crawford and the late Gladys Harrington. She lived in Medway, MA for 45 years before moving to North Attleboro, MA and then Florida, with her final residence in Plainville, MA.
Betty took an active role in her children's and grandchildren's lives.
She was also active in her community as a Junior Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, Sunday School Teacher, on the Altar Guild and as a Lay Eucharistic Minister.
She enjoyed camping, bowling, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
Betty is survived by her three children, Terry-Lynn and her husband Dean, Charles and his partner John, and Alison and her husband Steven. She is also remembered by her six grandchildren, Sara and her husband Nick, Ron and his partner Lauren, Brandon and his wife Ashley, Tyler, Rob and his wife Kelsey, Andrew and his wife Lindsay, and her five great grandchildren: Tyler, Brycen, Tate, Virginia and Leighton.
Her memory lives on with her brother Jackie of Searburg, VT, her brother-in-law Wales and her niece and nephew, Jeff and Chantele.Betty is also predeceased her two brothers: Ronald and David, and her niece April Hawkins.
