Betty Joanne (Page) Grant, 80, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph B. Grant, Jr., who died on March 23, 2000.Born on October 30, 1937 in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Clara S. (Barrowman) Page.A graduate of North Attleboro High School and the Pierce Secretarial School, Betty worked as a Secretary for the former Frank Holbrook Insurance Company and the former Gelinas Insurance Company. She proudly worked as a Hostess at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home for many years, bringing with her warmth, care, and comfort.Betty was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro. She was a devoted member of the First Congregational "Oldtown" Church, proudly serving as a Trustee, Deacon, CCD and Sunday School Teacher, as a member of the church Choir, and participating in most everything from church fairs to flea markets. She was a member of the former Attleboro Falls Community Association, the Sidesplitters Square Dance Group, and the Jolly Fox Campers, and was a former Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed the companionship of her cats, "Billy" and "Chino". More than anything, Betty loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and simply being a part of their lives. Betty was the loving mother of Steven Joseph Grant of St. Augustine, FL; Cheryl Anne (Grant) LoPriore and her husband, David R. LoPriore of Niantic, CT; Lorine Marie Grant of Marysville, OH; and the late Donna Elaine (Grant) DeSalvo, who died on August 31, 2017. She was the adoring grandmother of Brian Joseph Gallagher, Joseph Roy DeSalvo, Brittany S. LoPriore, Nicole S. LoPriore, Mikaela A. LoPriore, and Summer E. LoPriore; and the proud great-grandmother of Laiton J. Gallagher and Emma Grace Gallagher. Betty was the dear sister of Stanley B. Page and his wife, Joyce Page, of Warwick, RI; and Clyde S. Page and his wife, Brenda Page, of North Attleboro, MA. She leaves several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Betty by gathering for a Visitation on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Congregational "Oldtown" Church, 675 Old Post Road, North Attleboro, with the Rev. Kelly Thibeault, pastor, officiating.
